What is a liquid cooling manifold and what challenges do conventional solutions present?

A liquid cooling manifold is a central component in modern liquid cooling systems that efficiently distributes the cooling medium (coolant) from the cooling distribution unit to several servers or components within a rack.

The number of liquid-cooled server models has exploded in recent years, not least due to legal regulations requiring data centres and compact IT infrastructures to be operated in an energy and cost-efficient manner.

However, operators are faced with the challenge that only a few uniform market standards for the design and connections of liquid cooling manifolds are available to date, which makes their compatibility with liquid-cooled servers available on the market more difficult.

Cloud&Heat Liquid Cooling Manifolds -
One solution. Suitable for all liquid-cooled servers.

Maximum compatibility

The liquid cooling manifolds from Cloud&Heat are compatible with all liquid-cooled servers available on the market. This means you avoid vendor lock-in and remain flexible when designing your IT infrastructure.

Years of industry experience

We have been operating our own liquid-cooled data centre infrastructure for over 15 years and are therefore very familiar with the requirements for liquid distribution manifolds in the rack. The liquid distribution manifolds we have developed are optimised for different application scenarios.

Increase
your cooling efficiency

With the help of the liquid cooling manifolds developed by us, you can noticeably increase your efficiency. Save yourself the time-consuming search for customised solutions and rely on manifolds that adapt to your requirements - and not the other way round!

For various applications

The Cloud&Heat Liquid Cooling Manifolds are designed for different application scenarios. Whether small test environments or data centres with a connected load of over 2 MW - our liquid distribution manifolds are the ideal solution.

Our added value

High-quality materials

Based on our many years of experience with liquid cooling media and chemical and electrochemical processes in data centre cooling circuits, we have paid particular attention to the chemical compatibility and resistance of the materials and material combinations used in our Liquid Distribution Manifolds.

Optimised design

The Cloud&Heat Liquid Cooling Manifolds are optimised in terms of flow and production technology, designed with the same sides and can be used in all installation positions. The number of connection points is reduced to the necessary minimum. Seals are designed with a metallic seal or a sealing ring. Additional thread sealants are not required. The circular inner contour minimises flow losses.

Useful additional accessories

Based on our commitment to maximum energy efficiency and user-friendliness in the data centre, a wide range of accessories is available. accessories are available. The standard range includes thermal insulation shells to reduce thermal losses. Reliable automatic air vents and pressure gauges are designed to be removable and enable maximum flexibility in liquid-cooled IT infrastructures. infrastructures.

Sophisticated interfaces

Developed for the increasing power density of GPU servers, the rack manifolds built by Cloud&Heat enable large cooling media volume flows with minimal flow losses. Thanks to a wide range of quick connectors, all common liquid-cooled IT active components can be connected.
